I have no idea where this should be posted but.....

(This is on my 08 impreza)

I was under the car doing some touch up painting when I came across this little gem. This picture was taken from under the front right side. I might not be an engineer but letting water be constantly dripped over a joint doesn't sound like a good idea. It seems to me in the future this will cause a problem.

Im planning on extending the hose and aiming it in a different direction.

Its the line from your A/C evap within the cabin. Most people just cut it back when they install a downpipe anyway.

Don't worry though, those bushings will go by themselves - already on my 3rd set under warranty (80K warranty). Next time they go I will upgrade.

Yeah, that's always dripping on my head at work. I personally have not seen any of those bad on the newer Imprezas. Many many many 05+Legacy and Outback bushings have collapsed or torn.

my net is a rewinding post book. making the most of it...

the 80s subes had this just right.. even cooled the roasting tunnel.

I was gonna find a way for it to work without a/c, cabin recirc indirectly, a primer for faster heat exchange, little physics things i do not need to babble... I just like it. also if you leave vent open, no puddle on floor mat.. why it knows this hose exists.. who knows.
