and it was by blondie. blondie had the first number one rap song. yeah. believe it.

2:35 into it.


suger hill gangs' rappers delight was 2 years earlier (79) but i believe they were much less concerned with subarus.

 
it struck me as odd that subarus would be in a pop lyric when they were barely even being imported at the time.

that and this is a subaru forum seemed to make it worthwhile.
