Hey my names Chris, live in Windham.  My good friend Kam told me about the forum.

This was after he talked me into buying my first Subaru

I've been playing with and beating on cars forever, never a subie though.

It's a 1997 Legacy Brighton I got for $400, front end collision.  Jumped 10 teeth on the crank when the radiator hit the timing cover.  Re-timed it and no bent valves

Car is 98% rust free with 115k on it and a new clutch.

I'm excited!

It's the exact Subaru I never thought I'd own LOL

When I went to look at it before buying it.

Before doing much in Kam's garage.

Current picture (timing belt done, water pump, air bags / dash out, temporary radiator / battery to drive it).

Welcome! I have at least one green fender in decent shape that will fit that. Pretty sure its the drivers side. Pm me if you want it, I have no use for it and can let it go for wicked cheap.

I got a 98 outback for parts, just need a set of headlights and marker lights.

Clutch was said to be nearly brand new. I drove the car the other night. Runs amazing. Clutch feels great too. See how it feels after the winter drifting fun. >

Woops different car!  One I looked at was running, but it was also a white legacy wagon frontal crash.  They wanted 8 lol
