Taking off trunk instructions ??

Hey everyone. Doing a trunk swap tomorrow if anybody wants to meet up in portland!!

Were probably going to need some help or instructions.

07 STi, removing trunk and going wingless with 05 wrx.. Anybody know how to do this and have good instructions?

Anybody want to come a long??

1:30 portland mall tomorrow (monday)!!!

I did this myself but I did not change the spring-things cause I didnt have anyone to swap with. I just got a wingless trunk lid outright and carried over the interior and exterior parts. That mo fo really pops though when you open it. I also had to dremel out the interior piece for the middle brake light.

As far as 07 goes I dont think it would be much different to remove and attach the trunk. The middle brake light could be difficult though with the seatbelt in the way. Is there a brake light on the spoiler itself?

 
My 07 STi does not, the 05 wrx hood that I'm getting tomorrow does. I'm going to need some instructions and what tool's I'll need. I have searched but could not find.

 
are you sure the two of your have the same color cars? i thought you were UGM and i know he is CGM

 
wow. couldn't find anyone on the nasioc trunk swap? so you both are getting it painted?

 
I might drive over and get some lunch at the food court because im working but we wont have a single customer.

 
Nice, yea definitely chow down some food while I'm there. Found the directions, looks someone simple. I don't know, we'll figure it out... But definitely stop by guys!
