TD04 for Rebuild

Does anybody have a TD04 that needs a rebuild?

I had a big old puff of smoke out of my exhaust yesterday at the AutoX and I am hoping it isn't my turbo on the way out. So to be safe I want to pick up a spare to rebuild and have it waiting to go.

I'd be willing to do a partial trade for the header-back exhaust I have for sale, or buy outright.

stock 02-03 wrx? i gots one. could use a rebuild. 210,000 miles on it.

what is it worth?

Ya that's the one. You can usually find them on Nasioc for $100. I'd like to spend as little as I can because it will defintely be getting rebuilt. Def. prefer to do business locally as well.

how about this, $100 and i can bring it as far as the Portland area and meet you someplace. maybe like Maine Indoor Karting in Scaraboro or something. i was thinking about taking my son back there again.

i am up in the bangor area so meeting up would be a whole day for me

OK, I'll keep it in mind but I have a line on one in Conn. that I can get for $100 shipped. If you where right next door it would be a different story. You are almost as far from me as Conn.

this turbo isn't totally shot either. it still makes good boost, i just swapped in a turbo with 80k fewer miles
