It's that season again! My allergies are friggen pissing me off. I took 4 benadryls and 6 alaverts yesterday, which knocked me out of course - but when I woke up, my eyes were still running and my nose was a faucet.

I hate spring for this 1 reason. Give me mud, rain, cleanup and lawn cutting any day of the week... pollen however, can go f*** itself. :thebirdman:

Anyone else care to chime in?

with that load of meds you sure you weren't trying to get high?

try this:

you know me.. no meds.

I spent most of my life following Pedro's course of action - "I don't need no stinking pills."

Then my allergies got REALLY bad. Second year on horse-sized Allegra every day, and I have to say. It's changed my life. No Allegra, no contact lenses. No contacts, no sunglasses. No sunglasses, no scooter. See what I mean?

I don't think I am quite following you on the scooter..?

Eye protection is key, and my glasses don't wrap around enough to protect from debris and wind. I am enough of a dork to ride a scooter around, but I draw the line at goggles

I used to have allergies to pollen real bad when I was a kid, then I started smoking at 21 allergies all but stopped, been smoke free for a couple years now and still almost no problems. I don't recommend anyone to start smoking but it was one good thing that came out of me smoking.

interesting about the smoking. i never had allergies untill i Quit. ..now its on.

my eyes are so swollen and red i can bearly function. i am miserable! nothing works!

last year i had to get some steroid eye drops that seemed to help. i can see i will be talking to the dr again monday.
