I really like my Legacy wagon, fun to drive (makes winter fun rather than bearable) and for its age it it's in great shape (no thanks to the parking sitch. at USM).

But there are some things that just piss me right off

Window scratch/rattle (although I did find out that the rattle can be fixed)

SUBARUST Every day I look at it it's worse. Most of it is just blisters, but it sucks. It makes me...want to cry...

Wait, I thought I was going to get commiserators not solutions. Well, I'll gladly accept either.

I'm bitching though b/c it's a hard fix. It's in all of the places where they spot welded two sheets together ie bottom of the door, fender/rocker panel mtg. (not sw), rear wheel well...etc...SUBARUST. It's rusting from the inside out. How do youz guyz propose I "Fix it"???

 
cut & patch it... or bondo after grinding it...

you can expect to get a few more years if you use the second method. it really is a cost/benefit analysis...

my car is completely taken care of now (not that i had much to begin with) and the body should easily last another 3 years no prob...

 
my Rs has been growing some cancer around the rear wheel wells. hope to get that ground out and painted this weekend, provided I can find the time
