.....Try telling the wife you are skipping her sisters wedding because you HAVE to work. Yeah, she didn't take it too well.

We got a job in the shop that MUST be done by Monday morning, so we can set up the next job and have that done by Friday. No if's and's or but's about it...

Sorry bro.

Can't think of anything helpful or witty to say... just woke up. :-

no. seriously. I do have to work. The next job we are running HAS to be delivered Friday morning sharp. If we don't, our customer WILL send that job elsewhere in the future. It's a good paying job, so we will do whatever it takes to produce good results....

Oh I know you do Im just pulling your leg! 8)

But if my GF asks, I AM working this saturday. It just so happens I NEED to bring golf clubs and cooler of beer. ;D

It's not USM, right? If it is, LMK. I'll have Jenn pull some strings.

I missed my sister's wedding, but I made it to her second wedding. ;D Sorry, I'm not helping am I.

Good luck ecksjay. You're in a tough situation, but the longevity of the company does seem more important in this situation.

How come nobody ever gets married in February?

wrenching on YOUR rig on mothers day......optional (and potentially life threatening

working to support the family and put food on the table.....not optional :

no comparison - starting up your own business means you miss lots of family stuff in the beginning, but hopefully things will improve as your business grows and you are able to hire employees

I'm sure she is just frustrated, but deep down understands
