I wish I was aware of here a while ago...

I just don't like said other site anymore, I go there, log on and am not impressed with what I see.

This seems so much more "community" driven and friendly, it is sort of like the difference between liking and not liking UR neighbors...

Is it just me or has anyone else felt like that since being here? It didn't take long for this to become a regular Haunt

Carter started this site just over a year ago and has done a great job. I use to be on legacy GT but the members we have here are for the most part Mainers, either born & bread or imported like me. We all come from different backgrounds and life expierences but have something to contribute from younins to old farts

Great job, I am going to have the guy that does the forums for my gaming site take a look at this someday. I think U use a different software but I think he'd like this.

 
Nasioc is a bunch of crap. I joined it just because there is some good info on there. You just have to fish through all the bull crap.

 
Nasioc has way to many spoiled little brats now. Kinda reminds me of online gaming.

It's all good and I agree. part of what I do there is EOS...executioner of smacktards. I am the guy to ban someone from the site, a game server or an entire IP range if they irritate me enough.

Ever play any of the BF series and/or it's mods?

 
Nabisco for me is a resource site, For Sale, Wanted Etc. I don't chat on there like here. This is by far a more community oriented site. Props to mainelysubarus. Heck of a job guys..

 
Thanks guys. One day I just decided to make a site and this is what its become. But none of it would have been possible without you guys, my co-owner Nate who has contributed more than I could ever have imagined, and rest of the site staff, they work very hard to keep this place clean and friendly.

 
nabisco has always had lots of good stuff, worth spending time there if you can put up with the trolls.

it's national-intOrnational in scope so the feel is very different

MS rocks for the brotherhood of sube fans aspect.

 
I use nasioc for an information database. I don't have an account, but I lurk. And there is a lot of good info on there if you take the time to sort through the crap.

I'm actually setting up a maine computer forum as I can't seem to find anything of that nature. Right now I'm just working on a new server as my old 300MHz POS isn't up to it...
