Time off? DENIED!

So, say you put in some time off requests at work for STPR and NEFR (formerly MFR), and a couple days later, you get them back denied. You've been going to these events for years, and are not about to miss them for a measly $8.63 an hour. What would you do?

 
Lets see, they cut your hours, treat you like scum, then dont give you the few days off you request... I think you know what to do! They've pulled this before, just tell them you won't be there, regardless if they schedule you or not. They dont give you enough hours to begin with, they can give you the hours they are using you for the days you will be there.

Yeah, go. There are plenty of $8.63/hr jobs out there.

Sadly, I put in my request for NEFR and haven't been approved because I'm the low guy. If someone else needs that day off, even if they wait til the day before the rally to request it, they get the day off and I get to break things because I'd be fuming.

 
I put in my requests when i heard the dates and also call me crazy...but I reserved my campsite last month as well.

Oh well...place has been driving me crazy for a while now anyway.

Now I'm really pressed to find a new job soon. Don't want to be unemployed for too long.

 
don't think you would be unemployed to long were summers coming everyone is hiring

I'm picky about jobs though. Really looking for something automotive related. I figure since I like cars so much, I might as well deal with them at work too.

 
Work at Evergreen... a little bird told me they were paying $9/hr for an auto-tech... :
