"Top Gear" coming to the US...

Aweful. He's going to be the head guy? I could see him being like the James May type guy, but boo.

I'm sure they'll screw up the photography, coolness, stupidity, and everything that makes top gear awesome in the process.

 
better than the others i had heard rumored. leno, seinfeld. i do wish they had taken actual car people for it. what would it have hurt to look for a personality from the magazines of car and driver, SCC, or any of the other hundred or so auto mags. i really can't see them replicating the bbc version though.

yeah the one positive is not having to wait a year to see the current years' models. although the us tends to be 4-5 years behind anyway...
