So the other night I'm driving home from work in my Subie. Look in the rear view and see white smoke galore behing me. I pull over and see my car is leaking fluid, but at the time was unsure of just what I was leaking.
I had a buddy of mine look my wagon over tonight, and he seems to think either my front transmission seal, or possibly my torque converter seal has let go. We left it running for a little bit, and once all the old fluid had burned off, it didn't seem to smoke as much if any, making me think it could just be when the tranny is under working conditions.
Have any of you had to deal with this before? I really appreciate the help. I want to keep my wagon going for as long as I can, and luckily it's not the motor that has majorly malfunctioned.
