Trade (CT) - Gold STI Brembo Caliper for Black STI Limited Caliper

I'm looking for anyone who has an STI Limited and would like to trade their black brembo calipers for my gold brembo calibers. These are off an 07 STI. I'm located in Connecticut but with be back in Maine for School on August 30th.

 
you might want to try painting them. it would be a whole lot easier than swapping.

and if you take a picture of the lettering with a ruler I am sure that Redline can either cut you some logos or a paint stencil depending on which way you wanted to go.

lol if I wasn't so anal about things I would do it but I'm really particular with my car and painting would not be an option as its not authentic like that of the STI Limited. Also would rather have a trae then have to pay money since they are the same piece just different color. This owner I know who owns ECS has the black Limited on his 98 RS and was able to trade for those, just a matter of waiting around for the right moment which I'm looking to do. Thanks anyways!

 
well if you find a set tonight i am going to CT tomorrow lol and could bring them :-)

factory calipers are painted, not sure what would be non authentic about it.

It's not like they are RA-R calipers, which just like yours are Brembo OTS units.

 
Its the same thing as when some people pay to have a limited dash when they can just paint it. Its all about being a baller. I say if you have the money more power to you. Id probally do the same.

^ that's the way I'm looking at it, I do understand that I can paint them and have them black, but I'd have the knowledge I painted them instead of having the actually limited ones. Likewise with the dash trim like you said. But this particular situation I know I can eventually find someone that would like to trade since there are some that like the gold more than black. I just think the black ones would look much better with my Litchfield Type-25 Wheels which look similar to the Type RA-R wheels just gunmetal instead of white
