Have any of you replaced/upgraded your stock turbo inlet hose for an aftermarket type, either ridged plactic or stainless steel [like "APS"] or go with a silicon brand?.....Im liking the brand "samco" for high quality hose products, altho they're high in price..Perrin has a good rep but is on back order atleast 6-8 weeks[not] Then there is "stylin motors"..Thoughts or idea's ?? Im trying to upgrade from oem along with adding a bit-o-bling for the engine compartment...... Also while im replacing the tmic and suporting hoses is there anything else i should do while its in the shop? Wzrd

I just recently put in an eBay turbo inlet... fitment is ok, and one of the nipples coming off the hose is a bit too long. Was it worth $80 shipped? Yeah.

i have a gms silicone one from importimageracing. short money, and i was very happy with the results. oh, and pita to install? yes

^Yes very... I seriously don't know how people manage to install these things with the mani still installed. I would definitely like to see it in person.

What I have learned is DO NOT BUY THE APS..... just get a perrin or any of the high quality silicones and you will be fine.

i just picked up a gimmick inlet pipe and got it today and its beautiful with all the fittings!!! its replacing my perrin :-)

when my tuner originally installed it way back he cut it when i switched from one turbo to the next and its never fit well so I figured why not buy a new one while im upgrading to the 68hta which btw i got in the mail today and is BEAutiful
