Use scotch gaurd??

you guys think i shoudl spray some scotch gaurd on my seats to keep the seude from stainign or just leave them as is? never used it in a care before

 
FWIW my seats are 13 years old with almost 100k miles, without one stain. They are in mint condition.

If you spill a lot though, maybe it would be good for you...

You do however have an STi, so you might want to scotch guard the passenger seat so when your passengers take a crap from your driving your seat doesn't get stained

I have used it on my car before. Didn't hurt anything. I did the seats and the floor boards and mats. took one whole bottle to do.

 
The fabric cleaner in the spray cans that have the brush on them work wonders on the sti seats. So far I have not had a stain I couldn't get out. My seats did get the Resistall treatment from the dealership when I got it though...maybe that helps?
