used '04 STI struts VS new KYB GR-2's

I need to replace my front struts in my 02 bugeye waggie. After ordering a set of GR-2's, finding out they would take waaay to long to get to me and getting my money refunded, I am in a bit of a jam. I may be able to get a set of GR-2's in time, but I just found out I can get a set of front '04 sti struts in good shape for dirt cheap, today. I already have STI springs and tophats on the stock struts, so I know I can make everything fit. Additionally I believe I will lose negative camber. Any other drawbacks/reasons I should just stick with the GR-2's and hope they get here before next friday?

not sure sedan struts will fit your wagon. ??

Opt1:

I just checked VIP for KYB GR-2s. They have them for GCs ($98ea) in the Lewiston warehouse, or they could have got them for me next day at Auburn. Might be worth a call for WRX applications.

Opt2:

We got GR-2s (GC) from Tirerack because we had applicable discounts to use, and we're not in any hurry, but they could over night them for you.
