YARRR SUBY MONSTER!!
Looking for an EJ VSS. I don't care what transmission it's from, I'll have to get a calibrate box regardless.

They're hard to get out. If I don't get one by the time I install this transmission, I'll just rob it from my spare EJ. I don't want to deal with the VSS in car, that sucks.

 
Vehicle Speed Sensor. It's a hall effect sensor in the transmission to tell the the gauge and computer how fast you're going.

They're a pita to get out, but I have an idea for one. So I want one...

I might have one for you. I have to double check tomorrow, text me and remind me to look 2108732

The clean up crew at work chucked a bunch of my scraps and the tranny guts I had laying around. Hopefully they didn't chuck the sensors I was hoarding.

Since a cable speedo will never read right on the GL, I'm not going to even bother putting a cable in the new tranny. I want to put a digital vss in there, then shoehorn a legacy or impreza digital gauge into the cluster with an adapter box. .... Sounds like fun to me...
