waxing question

I just rattle can clear coated a trunk and was wondering if you can put down wax on it or is it not strong enough? (obviously this would happen after a full 24 hour dry time)

any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

No idea if you can but how did that come out?
honestly... im impressed with myself lol. I had no idea how to go about shaving the key hole and fixing metal damage...but right now it looks great. I did flat black with a clear coat and it looks pretty badass. i might throw it on tomorrow and then change out the tension bars when I get them from Trevor.

you workin tomorrow?

best to let the clear coat cure a couple weeks before waxing

if you can still sniff 'fresh smelling' paint, you gots to wait.

if u wax too early, the wax will frig up the clearcoat cure, and it'll go cloudy pretty bad.

so the clear will be okay out in the elements until then tho?

if past the initial "24 hrs until dry to the touch" stage, then probly yeah.

takes patientce to deal with fresh paint...ya wanna show it off asap, but it'll last longer and look better if it has a while to cure in a dry clean environment.
