What has your mechanic done for you today?

Mine changed out my front springs/struts in an hour. I didnt make an appointment for a week in advance, I didn't wait in a room with a blaring TV and fat old folks and he didnt charge me an arm and a leg

He called after I got home to make sure everything drove well as I had to bolt out of there in a hurry.

$$ well spent IMO

Imagine chores like springs lingering for 23 years.

I got one that needs to be turned around in its seat. The same spring has been promoting clown mobile since it was brand new.

Advanced auto lets me rent the compressor, I suppose I should take the 10 minutes and fix it in their parking lot.

Being able to see work is a kick in the butt. Especially at a place working on rigs or larger stuff. Makes a lot of impossible chores look easy.
