so ive been sitting on this from when I left to go to TN and that is I want to trade my Geo tracker 4x4 for a obs or drop a 2.2 or 2.5 into it idk I rly want a scooby again ant 5spd scooby lol I MISS THEM SO MUCH so what do you guys think?

 
I'm not really sure what you're asking... If you want an OBS you should get one. They go pretty cheap these days.

 
In serious though, what the hell do you want to do with a subaru over a tracker? Subaru has open front/rear diffs, viscious center + no low range = worse offroad than a tracker. As for putting a 2.2 or a 2.5 in a tracker? Bellhousing fit? Motormounts fit? Can you custom fab? Why would you put a crappy NA subaru motor in when there are other better choices you could make?

I can fab parts I was just seeing how much work it would be with the geo it has 88whp and idk what motor I should put in the car for more fun

 
but most likely just run the geo on the stock 1.6l motor it was just something my mind was cooking up but if someone would want to trade for it im all up for that

 
Get the 2.0tt motor for the tracker.

You're not gonna fit a suby engine in there, it's WAAAAY too wide to fit in that tiny engine bay.

 
ah thank you just didnt know if a sooby motor would fit and now I do and knowing is half the battle

 
I mean, anything is possible... But if you want to do an engine swap there are other straight engines that will swap in a lot easier.

 
dang lol I want to keep the 4x4 its nasty the thing drove out of 4feet of snow hehe just want more hp

 
I'm pretty sure there's some 2.0tt than can be swapped in those. I don't know a whole lot about trackers..
