what to add looks wise

ok well been thinking about what i want to do looks wise to my car and having trouble getting a vision. ive always had cars that are red or black and i love the contrast look like black wheels red car. but forsome reason having trouble with my car color thinking of what would look god with it. anyone have some suggestions? oh and tint is first thing i plan on doing. here is a pic to photo shop with if u want

tint windows.

tail light overlays (or the diy spray mod)

paint exhaust trim peices black.

tint the bottom bumper reflectors.

debadge trunk (i say leave the "sti")

body color paint the wings on your grill. or paint them black. (get rid of the grey)

black out your headlights.

all those things are cheap, and can be done at home with some time. (minus the tint) but they will all change the look of your car a lot.

Ditch the hideous tail lights, and get rid of or paint black that goofy looking trim around the exhaust outlets.

 
oh come on.... you buy all the materials, and ill help you. im only $150 an hour, and i see us getting it done in one day. two tops.

 
how about black wheels with red bead around the edge, blacked out head/tail lights as nate said and a mainely subarus badge on the bottom of the rear window

Looks wise...

a lot what Nate said + new springs, maybe an inch lower. You wouldnt have to worry about snow since your going to garage it. New Wheels will change the way the car totally looks, and you can keep the sti wheels perfect for when you want to sell the car. Get a side shot so I chop some new wheels on!

so basically everyone agrees that i need to darken the car up go stealth style with darker accents trim peices etc? what do you guys think of red tail lights?

I definitly like the red lights over the bright stockers, but nothing looks nicer then a quality blackout job!

and yes, stealth your car all the way

 
yah i say red tails for sure. we can do the red tails mod. you can spray them yourself.

 
oh how hard is it to debage? always hated the subaru and the impreza on the back of the car.

im thinking do red tail lights in the back all 3 do tint on windows and i liek the idea of a black rim with a red lip. gettign good ideas thanks guys

U think M&a can do reads tail lights?

i liek what u have doen with your car a lot nate honestly if you would be willing i woudl glady pay you to do some visual mods to my car

 
swing by some day, we can talk over things and i can do some quick stuff... i can debadge your car in 5 mins. M&A might be able to do red tails, im unsure. if you do wheels spend the money and powdercoat. paint is not a good idea for those wheels.

what are ya up to today? im meeting awwsheets at 6:30 and was gonna head into town around 2:30 and have some time to kill

hmm not sure i like it withthe rims photoshoped on but i knwo its hard to tell

 
Are you using the stock suspension still? I would definitely lower her some more!

Are you planning on keeping the stock wheels or getting others? I've seen some very nice looking 08-09 STIs with some wide rota G-Forces and wide tires and it looks aggressive as hell and super "Hellaflush"

... not sure what your goals are but I would definitely get some wider wheels and tires.

 
yah... lower the car first before wheels. i think new wider wheels make the factory wheel gap stand out more. plus i think the stockers look good. im at work today so i wont be free till 7am tomorrow. next week we can get together.

 
I can also do red tail lights. Ill need the lights from 8am till about 2-3pm. Let us know. (PM's get answered much faster)
