I go away on vaca for a few, come back to reality to find big changes on my favorite subaru site.Anyone have a clue whats going on or haven't i read far enough yet??Is the garage section all gone/ done?? not to be rude but, this might take a while to get used to....how does everone esle feel about the changes???

Its different, but change isn't a bad thing...I just usually check out the new posts anyway. I think that a couple months time we'll be as used to the new format as we were with the old one.

The layout will look almost identical to the old layout. It should be completed before weeks end. We updated to the next generation of vBulletin which is going to be more stable and easier to work on than the previous version we were using. Plug ins will slowly be added back when they are updated for version 4.0.

Yes, patience grasshoppers. Its in the works, and I've seen previews of the new look we are going for. I think you will all like it.

Unfortunately our old version of Vbulletin (the one we've all grown to love) was degrading, and was in MAJOR need of repair. We decided it was time to buy the newest, latest, and greatest version. Right now we are using it, but its stripped down. Everyone hates it, myself included.

The new setup will be up and active VERY soon, and I think you will all find most of the comforts we've lost to all be back, and there will be added bonuses.

Thank you all for your patience.

any way the profanity filter can go away in the VIP forum?

Soon. Give us time. We are working like crazy to get this forum back to what it was before. Rigth now you will just have to live with not being about to sware for a couple days.

Once we have the new setup in place, Some of the plug-ins will slowly reappear.

The biggest issue we are seeing is that the old plug-ins arn't compatiable to the new version of Vbulletin. And where the verson is soooo new, some of the plugins we had haven't been written for the new version yet.

Yah no kidding.
It was a needed upgrade. But a PITA to do.
I know how that is. My main server is running an old version of debian, gonna go out of support soon. But I have custom compiled so much stuff for the mail server system especially. It is going to be a serious project getting it upgraded.

Im not sure if iTrader will be updated. The version we were using was for 3.6 and the developer didnt feel like updating it for 3.7+ plus he wont release the rights to it for someone else to take over. We'll see what happens.
