When it's bad to have Hella Supertones...

So at 3:30am this morning, my Hella Supertones decided it would be a good idea to turn on and stay on. Woke up the entire apartment complex, surrounding apartments, cops came, yeah total crap show. That is all.

Bad relay I'm assuming?

Just wanted to share my embarrassment.

Every time my alarm goes off by accident, I die inside. I can't imagine what that was like. Look out for people trying to slash your tires

I believe the relay fails in the off position. maybe a dead spring in the horn switch?

I saw my boss walking down the side of the road yesterday and gave him a honk. I thought he was gonna have a heart attack he jumped so high, woops.

have you had other probs with the entry/alarm system? weird locking/unlocking, probs starting car (starter interlock) etc?

supertones just make the problems more attention-getting!

I have to say I think I have all-most deffin myself so many times hooking back up the battery terminals on my legacy and having the alarm go off.... and every time I am stupidly surprised even though I should remember its going to happen by now..

but yea shitty deal ryan... how did you get them to stop going off? if it were me I prol would have ripped the nearest wire in haste.... how long were they blasting for?...lol

No idea how long they were going off. The quick disconnect that runs to the battery for the horns is right in front so I just disconnected that.
