Where do you buy your parts?

So I have been researching parts and prices for my car and I was wondering where everyone else finds there parts? Maybe we could help each other find the best deals.

It really comes down to what it is for a part and how urgent it is.

That day or next - NAPA, Advance Auto, junkyard/used parts dealer

General maintenance items that are planned I shop around. I've done Amazon and Ebay for online stuff. Just have to pick and choose, do plenty of research each time you go to buy something.

For my mid 90s Impreza I have done the following

New rear drums, pads, wheel cylinders - $100 Amazon(compared to about $180 at NAPA)

Rotors, calipers, pads - $125 Amazon

My brakes are still working awesome a year later, once I replaced the master brake cylinder(emergency trip to westbrook NAPA)

I redid my exhaust from the cat back with OEM replacement midpipe, extension pipe(axle back without muffler) and a Thrush muffler for $200 from NAPA and Advanced

Then theres all the bits and pieces I bought at junkyards and used parts dealers.

upgrades, or replacements? we should start here. I go to napa for replacements usually, but for upgraded aftermarket parts, rally sport direct is my go to.

Evergreen, Napa, internet. It's very rare that I need parts to begin with, but I like to stay with Subaru parts. I've had some Napa stuff not fit well

Rockauto for OEM replacement.  Almost always the cheapest.  NASIOC classifieds for performance parts. or ebay.

Cygnus Performance, owned by Geoff Parnum. He always comes in like 5% below IIR, and puts together combo deals for you if you ask about pricing. Awesome vendor.

I usually shop around for awhile before I get anything. But I've used subimods, napa (usually the best deal on brake pads). And fastwrx.com has some pretty good stuff. Extremepsi.com, autoanything.com and summitracing. And I usually look on eBay first but I don't really like buying anything big from eBay due to the fact that it is such a hassle to return anything.

For me it depends on what im buying. If its general maintenance stuff i get stuff from napa from the Moog brand they carry. if its upgrades im looking to get RSD. I just bought new struts for the front and i got them from shockwarehouse.com and i got my swift spring from MaProformance.com with free shipping and almost $150 off the retail price. for brakes i would go to KnSbrakes.com
