Where to find subarus for sale

Now i've been keeping my eye open on CL, and there's nothing on uncle henrys. I was just wondering if there were any other sites you guys use

to look for used subies for sale? I'm starting my search in hopes to find the perfect one in a month or so.. I'm going to be picky i dont want to buy something that's going to blow up on me in a month.

what make and model are you looking for? if you are willing to travel for a GC, there are plenty on rs25.com. Most of them are local to us also! (northeast area)

 
I'll try those web sites dan. And i think i want to stick with a sti, I'll be able to tell better in a month or so, when i know my budget.. and the fxt is just one i took offline, faulse advertisement,

but i think it's a pretty sick ride.. can i have it or is that frowned apon in here?

 
How safe is buying off ebay, there are a few on ebay for sale, maybe a plane ride down to the carolinas, and a nice drive back would be good.. lol

 
I, personally wouldn't buy something that I haven't looked at or have had looked at. Unless you don't care about wasting money to go on a trip.

Right that's what i'm thinking, but i've been on nasioc and there are a ton of cars for sale some in nc, some in pa, so just gotta keep my eye out.. I would like to snag a sti, for the right

price.. i think in the long run i'll be happy with that instead of going with a fxt and modding that.. specially with the fxt having a 5speed tranny..

I've also seen a lot of sti, with rebuilt engines, is it mostly because of owners slacking or is there a common problem, that i would have to worry about if i was to buy one with lets say 100k or more?

 
dont totaly throw out the idea of getting a fxt, engine size is the same as the sti. and with a few sti parts, can be made just as fast or faster (you fozzy guys can correct me if needed). through trolling CL, ive seen most STIs, even the older ones for i think 15k and up. where as the fozzys and wrxs are usually cheaper, therefore, you have moar money to spent on mods

That is true max.. I haven't totally ruled it out for sure I would like to find either a black or wrb fxt.. If I was to go with one

 
Don't forget the LGTs, they're kind of hard to come by, especially in 5MT, but they're super comfortable and even the stock ones are pretty quick.
