Where to run power wire

I am having the most difficult time trying to find a spot to run a power wire through the fire wall. I have done several of these before, but I literally can't find any spots to run it through the fire wall on my Forester. I'm assuming that it's like most of the other turbo Subarus, so does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks

Look in the engine bay on the firewall for rubber grommets. Pop a suitable one off and jam a straightened out coat hanger through. Use that to thread your wire through, put grommet back in with any trimming needed to accommodate the wire.

My RS firewall is easy to play around since I don't have an intercooler in the way. Still probably easier to poke around in the bay rather then do gymnastics to try and find spots under your dash.

Yeah that's what I usually do, just use an existing grommet, even one that has something else running through it, but there is nothing!! I mean there has to be something, but I can't find anything!! Even looking from the inside.

try sticking your head under your dash and look behind the clutch pedal. I found one there on mine, pushed it out and it landed on the framerail next to the inner fender. was about 1" across

Finally got it. I had to take a bunch of stuff off to find a place to feed it through, but it's all in now. Thanks for the suggestions!
