Come on down to Auburn tonight. We'll get primed for Gritty's tomorrow by hitting some bars. Or, I have a nice "track" I run I call the Auburnburgring. Bunch of sweet esses, couple of fast straights, no houses or other cars around.

We'll call it the Bugeye 500.

At least your company has a Christmas Party. Last year we got a nice lunch... this year we got tasteless cake which I pitched 3/4 of.

Definitely not mellowed, more like an upgrade. I've always been an evil, sadistic bastard, but I've always at least been a cheery evil, sadistic bastard. But right now, my cheer is gone, and I'm just a plain evil, sadistic bastard.

Don't get me wrong, I love my company, and love working here. This was just an unfortunate situation of someone with too much pull in this company getting a really lame idea, and me becoming the example because I was the one with the ballz to tell them how lame it was.

 
I know of a company around here that as Xmas "bonuses" gave trees planted on like the Washington DC mall or something (don't remember exactly where) in the employees name. Or maybe it was money to an orphan in a 3rd world country. (Very nice gesture, don't get me wrong). But the employees could have used the money. And it would have meant something to them.
