winter beater

I'm looking for a cheap Subaru to use as a winter beater because idk if I will have the RS on the road before I have to put up the Camaro. I have between $500 to $750 to spend and if someone has something that might have a few months left on the sticker that would be great. If not I have my inspection license so I am not that worried about it.

 
I just bought a 97 Subaru legacy with 199k on it for $500. Just needs a little rust work and I already added 98 outback rims and slightly bigger tires know looking for some forester struts to lift it.
