Probably not too many people on here know this, but when I was younger, I was a firefighter on Waterville FD for almost 5yrs, until I got hurt.

Well, I just found out today that my truck, Engine 1, was in a wreck a couple weeks ago, and will most likely be scrapped. I'd even just seen her a couple days before it happened while I was in for a visit, first time in a couple years. Well, looks like that visit will be my last. :'(

Our thoughts and prayers are with you EJ :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Keep your chin up! Just think now the taxes get to go up and they get a brandy spankin' new truck, Awesome!

The "taxes going up" thing is way played out. I will fill you in on a well kept secret..... (fire trucks have insurance too)

Time to step up EJ, paint that wagon or yours bright red and put a light bar on it!

It may not hold a lot of water, but it'd be first on the scene!

back in my younger days i had a Transformer that was a Lamborghini painted up like an ambulance... didn't quite understand the paint scheme but it looked cool. EJ, I think you should consider repainting your wagon.

Ooh wrecking a fire truck....that would bite

I was in a bus when it slid into the ditch and rolled onto its side

but I couldn't imagine a fire truck....

Athough when I was in the Army someone rolled an 8 wheel Hemmit tanker onto its side...so that migh be the same thing

We had to use its wrecker countpart to get it out (that's one of the job I had- Hemmit Wrecker Driver)
