Guys,I just got a phone call from a buddy of mine. He just blew the headgasket on his 2002 OBS for the second time. Hes at about 170,000 miles, the first one blew at about 145,000 miles. He doesn't really want to put money back in to the same engine again because it might just do it again in another 30,000 miles. Hes got the 2.5 SOHC engine now. He wanted me to look in to what it would take to do a 2.5L DOHC or DOHC Turbo swap. He also wanted to know if I could find someone with all the parts that he would need as in the engine, ecu, mounts, wiring harness, and anything related to the turbo if its a turbo model. So how about it guys? Is this a difficult swap and does anyone know where I could get a deal on an upgraded engine that would fit? It doesn't have to look pretty, just needs to run reliably. His car is really beat up on the interior.
