WTB: EJ25

Preferably the SOHC phase II from 99+ but the DOHC from 98 would work too. need a running longblock with good HG.

Would also consider:

EJ20 running long block from WRX 02-05

EJ22t running long block from Turbo Leggy

EJ22 running long block OBDII only

I realize the price differences between them all

Hey, I know you said you were looking for a complete motor, but I have an EJ25 short block that could be used for a nice build.

my stepmoms 99 forester smoked a ton because it had a stuck valve, so i replaced the head and gasket on one side. started it up and it still smoked. bastard. my dad picked up up a whole new motor and i dropped it in. that one smoked. then i realized that it was just sitting oil that was in the headers burning off. the smoke went away in about 20 min. had i let that first motor with the new head run for a while i would have known that. either way its sitting in the garage now. i have an 01 intake manifold from the salvage motor i dropped in too, if you're interested. spare set of heads too. and the start to an individual throttle body setup. ha.
