WTB foglight or lens

4WRXter

Skier!
I am looking for a passenger side fog light or at least the glass lens. Fitment for 02 WRX. I'm searching NASIOC, RS25 as well. But if someone local has something, hit me up.

I just looked a lot closer at the light. The reflector is quite corroded, so it appears I need the complete light.

That's probably what I will end up doing. I'm researching how to fabricate up some brackets for cheap $$. I just thought if I could find 1, reasonably priced......

rallylights.com has cool laser cut brackets for exactly this fitment, 99-03 round stock fogs to H 500s

had a set on my bugeye wag, they were like $35...good value for all the fabbing and hacking that saved.

114-20668 maybe? If so i have one that you can have, the lens is moderately pitted, but not cracked.
I'll take it apart again when I get home to check. Maybe my eyes are bad enough to get those #s mixed up. I'll get back to you, THANKS!

Being a cheap yankee(prick), I was trying to do it for less than $65-$70 for 500s plus $35 for brackets. That is always an option, though.

And for simplicity, I would like to unbolt the broken one, plug in "new" one and re-install. You know,....EEZY-PEEZY!!

Oh, and Nigel, that "project" we spoke of would probably be, like, a simple job for you. All summer for me, if I could even pull it off.

SO I am going to just put this here instead of starting a new thread. Why can't i just drill a proper sized hole through the bumper and the stock foglight mounting plate to mount Hellas??

well...you can.

look carefully, plan out he install, and you can drill straight up and into the OEm bumper beam. don't gots much of anything more solider than that! this method is a PITA since you have to pull or partially pull the fender liner to access back of bumper beam, and then have super skinny fingies to actually reach in with the nut. you may even have to pull the bumper beam itself to move-remove-modify foam padding. this is figuring of course, on having the normal stirrup-type H500 mount, not the wide plastic FF type. you will end up attaching the H500 fog lens units into their housings upside down but it works fine.

if you drill the mount thru bottom of bumper skin it'll sorta work but be pretty floppy.

the rallylights brackets are teh schiznits tho....
