WTB: GC series OBS springs

OK so my new RS Snowball is running some kind of stiffened lowering springs. heh it rides a bit rough (the g/f calls my car "The Skateboard") and it's so low that 205/65-15 gravel tires rub on the fenders (NFG!!) not to mention he's a bit shy of ground clearance too.

looking for GC series OBS take-off springs to raise de ride height and restore full wheel travel.

what y'all gots?

are they good quality stiffened lower springs...or crappy ones?

no idea, maybe 4wrxter can weigh in, it used to be his car

drives wicked nice and flat on tarmac, I just want more ground clearance and room for big ole fat gravel tyres

 
The only thing I did, suspension wise, was GR-2 struts, RSB and Kartboy F&R endlinks. I assumed they were stock springs. Maybe the kid you bought from put something else on. :shrug:

 
I have a set of WRX struts/springs that I might be willing to part with ... no tophats tho.

 
Dave, I have the springs and warn struts that I took off my wagon.. I'm sure they aren't OBS hieght, but might help.. (cut me a deal on some good used DMS, maybe I can do a partial trade on my GR2 woth OBS springs..

yummm, so many choices. Tanks all for the input. Still searching take-off GC series OBS springs, I know they are the ticket for my wants/needs -- increased ride height + more ground clearance - less impact harshness / happier GF ridin shotgun = MUCHO happier Nigel

 
wrx 02-03 springs will give you roughly the same ride height and a better ride then obs springs i just swapped mine out for wrx springs with no issues so i would talk to spin about buying his springs

 
I'm pretty sure they're sedan, but I'll try to get in touch with the guy I bought them from to make sure.
