I did it again, drained my bank account on a rolling chassis and a box full of parts. I actually bought this in September but am just now getting the money to finish it. It is a 2005 Kawasaki KX250F project I purchased for 500 bucks! Has 16 hours on it. Was raced at MX207, beat pretty good by the looks of it. But it has an aftermarket seat, Perelli tires, aftermarket bars and suspension ect. it really is a cool bike.
Rod bearing went, kid took it all apart then decided it was too much of a project for him. So now it is MINE! :]
Parts to be installed:
Wiseco forged crank and rod assembly
Wiseco bottom end gasket kit
Wiseco top end gasket kit
New piston rings from Kawasaki
New transmission shaft bearings from Kawasaki
New water pump seals from Kawasaki
Anybody else ride these things? Know if any clubs? Cool places to ride!? Should be a lot of fun, and I can always sell it and make some spending money!
