I have always just sanded the wheels that I have painted. I also have always primed them with self-etching primer. I figure if they get dinged, it's pretty easy to re-spray. Just my opinion.

My 2 cents???.............. Get some. If you don't like the outcome, re-paint. My suspicion is that you will have a great job. Grimspeed is a quality company, with quality products. I'm looking forward to seeing how it comes out.
