Yes, and I don't think much stress at all. There are dozens of lifted imprezas running around. I see one in the shop often for oil changes. That one has been jacked for two years now.

are they in decent shape? well hell they got to be better than what im on now...lol

so lets just review...using those springs and struts..I can put my 02 wrx tops on them and bolt up no issues?

These tops are the same as the GCs. With WRX tops it'll work. I might have some of those I'll have a look in storage. Some imprezas look butt high. Some dont. Some people get the Jackson spacers for the front. Results vary. Yup, good condition. Get jacked.

According to the info I have found, the GC style and Forester style are not the same. But the WRX and Forester style are.

Rez, I researched this at one point. I am pretty sure (although not 100% positive) the fronts should bolt right in. As Bratman showed you can drill a hole, get 1/4" spacers, and use the forester rear tops. Or put WRX tops on the Forester struts/springs.

Forester struts From any 98-08 will bolt in to any 02-07 impreza and any 95-99 legacy with out changing tophats I know I have done it all

Sorry inski for the thread hijack....wife gave me the clearance to buy a set of Gr2's thanks for the info though.

Are these still available? I want to lift my '98 OBS, and I've seen it done a few times. What does it take besides the complete Forester combos? I'm not scared to dive in at all, went to school for auto and been wrenching since I could walk.

Holy F*** ! no one needs 4 springs 4 struts 4 tops for their Forester or Impreza??????????????????????????????

If I can't get 100 bucks by thursday I'm putting them in my impreza.

the ones that come with 2001 forester struts. I think I have 2002 WRX sedan tops somewhere (shed-o-parts) also.

This would be a blast for winter setup... The only time I have gotten stuck in winter was when I high-centered while trying to drive over a snowbank with my 02 Rex. Almost made it too! I'm thinking I could have done it with these installed! Lol
