2011 wrx hid flickering

I actually would like to do an upgrade to the STI/2011+ WRX HID system but I think its a little to pricey. My understanding is that they are wired a little differently (for the DRL thing) and they also have a motorized headlight leveling system with a roller switch installed next to the one for the dash brightness. So no only are the beams from the HID bulbs focused better producing brighter light, especially in the center of view, but you can also control where you see the cutoff line so that when the vehicle is heavily loaded you can keep from blinding on-comming drivers by angling the low beams down a little.

Correct. I have the factory HID's. They are manual leveling via roller switch opposite the dimmer switch.

You wont have a problem if yours came with HID's. You only have a problem if your adding them after the fact.
I didn't have them I put ddm h.I.d. Sorry should have clearifyed that

Don't quote me on this, but if you get the 11 WRX Limited headlights they might be cheaper. Same part, lower cost. I think its the same as things like Lexus parts vs Toyota parts. You pay the "luxury" price. In this case its the "STi" price. Just food for thought.
