What year SVX motor? Is it OBD1 or OBD2? And holy crap that's a good deal for the tranny set up!! What is it out of?

Transmission is mine. (unless it's out of an outback)

What's the deal on the EG? If it's OBD2 I'm wicked interested...

Has nothing, just bare engine. So best choice for a swap is aftermarket EM.... blehh. I still have my heart set on yours.

One thing though, I really don't think that the 95 impreza is 4.11. I always thought they were 3.9, and nowhere can I find anything that says otherwise.

I'll still take it either way, I just need to know so I can get the right rear end, know what I'm getting. etc.

Also, what's the driveshaft out of; the same car?

its 3.90. I take it your not buying mine now.

I may be wrong on the final drive I thought I looked it up once but I could be mistaken. Yes its the gearbox, driveshaft, and rear end all from the same car. The most popular aftermarket em for the svx is the hydra which runs 1100 so stock may be cheaper to acquire. Then you can just chip it (OBD1 only) through ecutune.com

Yea, sorry Mike. I don't have a lot of money, and I have all the other parts at this point besides the transmission itself. I've acquired on the cheap. So this is the perfect part for me.

I think a "new" ecu goes for around $500-700,soo...Chris,makes my setup even moar enticing...all apologies fo' the hijack...free bump for OP!!!!

thread hijack here, but what can an obd2 eg33 ecu go for? have that and the biu or tcu for a 96. bump too haha
