yeah it does. but we have had a great summer. and really haven't gotten a hurricane in a few years.

I hope we get slammed!! I will get a ton of O/T at work if it takes a lot of trees down on the lines!!!

don't need no reminders around here cuz me and my colleagues currently have about a dozen boats on the water in Rockland harbor. can you say GLUED to the WEather Channel?

come better info on Earl's track toward New England coast (say, about Wednesday) it's gonna be a big ole boat-haulin party.

I'm gonna be cramming toward the end of the week probably hauling boats before we get hit. ugh.

I hope it pounds us starting Friday, I hope4 all you guys are safe and your friends but I want wind and rain to keep these new college kids quiet. They are going to interesting this year. We already had one get lost today just over 100 yards from where she needed to be. The future of America is looking scary this year!

Storms and trees down. yay. I remember last year, or maybe the year before I had to be out doing something until like 11PM, so I brought my chainsaw just in case. And ended up cutting a fallen tree on the way home to get through the road. So make sure you all bring your chainsaws to work! haha.

i tried to make small talk about it today in Bar Harbor and nobody seems to care. they are all under estimating this storm. maybe if they ignore it, it wont come on labor day weekend...and they can keep their tourists in the harbor.

cant wait to sit at Seawall and watch the shore get pounded!!!

good advice if you live on a "back road". i was out until 4am this past winter clearing trees out of the road down by my house w/ 90mph wind gusts so the ambulance/fire trucks could pass through. good times

I'll be sitting at pemaquid point in full off shore foul weather gear watching it.

I'll try not to, I grew up sailing on the ocean though, so I think I'll be alright.

I'm all set I think, been watching those survival shows. All I need now is a camera crew, some para cord and I should be all set.
