+12345 on new Foz or Outback vs the dread Tribec-heifer

a good friend locally bought a Tribeca about a year ago to replace her A4 quattro wagon. she's a realtor, and wanted something easier for clients to get in and out of. long story short, the cllients like the new suby's back seats and easy entry, but she he hated it. "I thought you said Subarus were sporty, this thing drives like a friggin Tahoe" she told me. anyway, she took a bath on sellin it and got an A6 quattro wag and loves it.

being agile and relatively compact vehicles are some of subaru's long-standing brand virtues. these do not translate all that well into something that much larger..

Foresters are better then Beccas... I dated a Becca once..Didn't work out... but I digress...
very true beccas suck!!!! I just am stuck with the look of the Forester not being good looking ... I priced one out and had to go with the sports grill, front underspoiler, and spoiler but I still don't feel it

hell i just want an STI

That is a modern shame. considering 2.7 liters went with 2500 pounds once upon a subaru.

I still want to hack a 3.3 into an 87 GL, with the doubled framing and six bolt holes ...by subaru.. already in it. Not may know it is thousands f poundso ver an impreza with strenght, I have even laughed at the forestor. No secret, they went bankrupt before building bigger than a 200pound rear spring , 10 geared dual range wagon with..omg..90hp. It would be a historical thing to do with it. It is about time to see the flat six wagon, 20 years over due.

The outback 3.6r is something I read up about. never enthused about newer subarus.. but, via photos, and honest road test, by someone who even mentioned an 80s subaru as comparison...

it is shipped conservative, many things to tinker with. I noticed some rather hefty truck sized wheel/tire combo could slap right on.

..and beyond subarus brand name, I believe in correct math, the flat 4 and six are winners in engineering...in fact, the flat 6 is as good as 6cyls will ever get, nomatter what else they try...

long reply short.. go for the base 23k outback 3.6r..add your own stuff.

Was that English?

We happen to have a lightning red 22k mile 08 STI. Pretty.

Definately try a Fozzy Limited and a Outback before you buy. The Tribeca is not the best Subaru built
