and the winner is:party: INSKI

and that, my friends, is why inski is a top notch mechanic

Tell Alan I have an extra CV boot and grease in the garage that you can have. When are you picking up the other RS on Saturday? Maybe I'll meet you there and help out.

Tim

P0107 Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Low Input

that's an odd one for NA MAP cars. I'll research it. Its probably that feed to the aftermarket box I messed with

check the vacuum hoses going to the sensor and solenoid at the right front strut tower

To check the solenoid, remove key, connect the D-check connector (green) under the dash, turn key to on/engine off, and listen and feel for the solenoid working. Put your fingers right on it to feel it clicking off and on

Also, a search indicated a few people on NASIOC with RS-Ts have had the same code with aftermarket management. A couple people have had harness issues at the ECU, under the carpet on the PASSENGER side floor. Wires get punished, rubbed, frayed, under and around the ECU shield and carpet.

..still looking more

Ok, Finding out the readiness monitors are shut off by many of the aftermarket piggybacks.

Is it at all possible that your previous State tests were just quickie, incomplete, hurry up and get that inspection over with and dont bother checking the monitors tests?

nope, that is the ONLY part of the inspection he tends to do, and the system reports directly to the state.

I will go on a wire checking mission tomorrow, that is definitely not to be ruled out.

thanks, kat
