Cracked cylinder heads?

It's very common on older Subarus motors, especially EA82's, but never cause them any issues in running. But I'm not sure about the newer ones

back to crack head phenomona:

You may find getting some diodes in the electrical can really send a relief. after market ignitions know this subject very well. Seems the plugs hung onto no escape. (Maine does this to Every machine) If to generalize a common engine error in maine, that is one. Keep the grounds strong, and find a way to keep it in a direction. Diodes of fancy ignitions usually work. Heck, I even found adding LED bulbs to the four corners of the car added a sincere contentment.

Even my simple 10 to 1 iron v8s did things like this. I am not from maine.. and associated it with it. It is not supposed to be common on any engine...and on an ea82, I have not found an inkling of any classic error...making it all the more subarus own killer of false reputation.

The boosted mechanics ought to have some unusual tips about this. It really is not common.

show me an open deck ej that is not going to do what the OP described. After 23 years original with an EA82 through every phenomona known to man, I still have one running, even had one that survived a nuclear tick episode.you are gonna step up with your retarded facts? Sit down hillbilly. Sit down. Have I got a decades story long for you to listen to. I hope you fall asleep...success with a car is boring like that.

Uhm? I think I got lost. But, I think what the poster of the heads being a common problem was trying to say is that its a common problem for that style motor like the rings the sti's are a problem. Usually if you have a motor problem with an sti its the rings. Why? because so many have had the same exact issue on the same car and not others.

Punctuation is your friend, Chris....

thank you chris

haha

all i was wondering is weather it was common or not

a few guys on NASIOC said it was fairly common

and whats with all the hate'n on my thread

this is a nice place, theres no need to smear campaigns

were all subaru owners here...

No one is haten' on you riceburner. If you think your dad can fix your heads then I say go for it. But alum. can be a pain in the butt for such a repair. Good luck with the heads. I would play it safe and just buy some good used ones though.
