Just changing the camber will change the toe by a ton.

Whenever I go from -1.5 camber to -3, the toe falls right off the charts.

Can someone elaborate on this "new shop"?
Maine Mall Subaru is being sold to Pape Chevy/Mitsubishi, but all the employees are staying on.
so the same shitty people are going to work there, but they are going to be owned by a far shittier company?

cool.. yeah I will be there for all my service

B = control arm

H = strut spring

A = ride height

When you alter A and H by decreasing (or increasing) the length of H, you change the values of a and b. In car terms this equates in changes to camber. As mentioned, the toe will also be changed (not 100% clear on the mechanics here but it absolutely happens).

Not only this. but when you lower only one end the camber that is expressed in the rear starts to turn into toe due to the change in the position of Axis A.

not to change the subject, or directly raisin on MMM...

But I've come to hate their bullshit... I bought my car from there, so get all my oil changes done there, and now that my warranty is out they seem like they decided to treat me like I know nothing about cars at all, and offer to charge me some rediculous ass prices...

car tracks fine, no tire wear on either the snows or the new tires. had even tire heat when I ran the AX

must have raisin luck, because I ran the coil overs without an alignment for a year and never had unusual tire wear and have none now with the AGX/OBS setup. plus there is NO ONE up here I would let have my car for a day to do an alignment, EVAR

Somebody buy me a digital imaging alignment rack on a scissor lift and I'll align anything, all 4 corners, everything that's adjustable will be adjusted if need be. I ruv alignments. AND if you wanted to do corner weighting and/or chuck some eccentric bolts in I could do that. Coilovers, no sweat. Castor plates, even better.

Pape Subaru. That sounds funny.

hey Moody, you only get tire wear from bad alignments if you drive on tar. Slippery surfaces don't effect it as much :glasses9:

If I open a shop, you are on my short list.
