First sighting since moving here...

Barb and I went out for a drive Sunday and went up 27 across 16 and down 4, saw one moose kinda disappointed, but had fun anyway.

We had a mouse[not moose] sighting on the way to town today.Im takeing my son to work in the rex, were going about 40-45 mph and the boy says"dad did you see the mouse run across the windshield"Im like wtf are you talking about,he says, i see a small mouse over by the right windshield wiper sorta stand up,as if to wave, then gravity kinda picked him up and he was gone......10 Minutes later im on my way home..

I see a mouse run across the window and down around to where the wiper attaches to the car,i hit the wiper switch, spray comes out ,no mouse. As soon as i get back home i shut down the car and pop the hood,At the top of the engine compartment, the little plactic trough that catches the water from the windshield wipers, was being used as a mouse nursery. There were STILL 2 small mice who had lived through the 20 minute trip to town.ALIVE and circleing around the wipers like it was there car.:spinmastert:With so much rain the car must have looked like a nice dry spot.....Last winter the got into the hemi's air filter and made a mess of it..

.Another of maines finer critta's:D

Last year when the wife & I was doing the Kangamangis loop in the fall just before we turned off 16 a little mouse popped up at the base of the windshield right in front of my wife. After the loop we stopped at a resturant in Conway. I think he made a break for it then. I just hope the Conway mice accepted an Acton mouse
