Im feeling out the idea of selling my car, to move onto better feilds, like a wrx wagon. I have done a lot of work to this car. ITS all tastefully done an professionally by my self an my father whos a ASE mechanic. Oil changed ever 2500-3k miles with 5w-30 penzol syn. aprox. 144k miles. Runs like a champ

ITs an auto. I know. I know. But its a great daily driver. It made me happy.

The car has a sticker good till this time next year.

The engine has been rebuilt, had the longer skirt pistons put in to stop the slapping sound this car makes in the cold weather. Also both headgaskets are done, burns NO oil. No leaks etc. Good soild running car. I just want to get into boost.

The mods:

Interor:

full wrx seats front a rear ( have original leather seats too)

front speakers are replaced with infinity kappas rear are alpine type s

Clean on the inside, NON SMOKER.

Exterior:

STI v5? Hoodscoop.

Roof done in a black vinyl wrap, dont like it? tear it off. No harm done

Hella 500f fog lights w/ kart boy foglight brackets (these things are amazing in storms)

JDM rear spats

Rally armor classics ( NOT UR)

Rear window visor, Kinda neat/dont see them often

Performance engine

Ganz flow CAI

NGK plug wires

Borla headers

COBB HFC

OBX CAT BACK

Performance Handling

Front Whiteline sway bar 20mm I believe

Rear Ralitek sway bar. 22mm I believe. W/ all ended links stout mounts etc.

Tires are a generic all season that have plenty of life left in them

For all this im looking to get 4500 OBO OR trade towards outback wagon a nice forester truck a with cash from my end of course.

i know its a lot less than what you want

im not trying to insult you i just figured it was worth a shot

but my buddy is looking for his first car, he;d love this

he has little over 3000 cash ready to buy

like i said, not trying to make myself look like a dumb ass haha, or insult you or anything. but that's all he has and i figured it was worth a shot

I'd buy it if it were a 5 speed.
Dan, an RS auto is a total 110% hoonigan in the snow. clutch pack ctr diff in the 4EAT gearbox works wicked good in slippry stuff. no it's not as snappy on the road but when you are sideways and scrabbling for every lasssst bt of traction that driveline is ur friend. u can also wire in a simple switch that locks up ctr diff all the time on demand, hint hint.

LDR had an RS automatic and it was an effing blast to hurl around.

I'll second the auto doing pretty well sliding around. Once I figured out I had to manually put it through the gears to make it do what I wanted, it was actually pretty nice.

Nice RS you've got there.
