I got Steam for Mac twenty minutes after it was released publicly (for my school craptop) but "the servers were too busy to handle my request" to download Portal for another 5 hours or so.

 
^ Me too. They're adding a paint gun that changes the environment (paint "speed" paint on the ground to make you run faster, "bounce" paint to make the walls/floors bouncy, etc).

Never played Portal before. Downloaded it yesterday as a result of this thread. Beat it today, all the while thinking I was just in a training session that would end and let me kill stuff.

Now I get all the "Black Mesa" and "the cake is a lie" references I see on teh webs.

I did pop a mosfet on previous board (sucked in past 90 watt), and now all is well on an 875p (workstation by intel.) The previous board was errored with 3 pairs instead of four. Now it is just beautiful , I still have no need to upgrade yet.

4gb, ECC registered, copper cooled, xp 90... it may be the first I call classic pc and mean it...
