Girlfriend just crashed her car...

No hard feelings, just felt like we were both of the same oppinion but arguing anyway. I have managed to swerve around to moose, but I tend to run my subwoofer in moose country, so I almost never see them. When I do, Im usually chasing them down the Rangely S turns. I probably should have been more specific about going for the tree, so thanks for pointing it out. Ray's car ended up looking better after his tree accident than my cousins car did after his moose accident, so that too is sorta what I was thinking about. That and 250lb buck trying to jump over the hood and not making it would be bad.

 
Accidents are all but random anyways, anything can happen. don't hit anything with the car is what I go with, that's why I built a big jeep.

All parts are located at this point except for a passenger side headlight and a passenger side mirror. Colors wont match but Im not worried about that at this point. The radiator supports are being torched out of the donor car as we speak. The only differene will be color, and the "new" bumper won't have fog lights. Ill just take some of the spare hellas I have around and set her up for great night time visibility with the stock wiring triggering the relay.

 
hey guys, plain fact is that hitting anything is just plain bad.

at least aim for the back of the animal, they may take 2 extra steps going forward which helps you miss entirely or strike a glancing blow.

if you swerve, swerve back an equal amount IMMEDIATELY then give the car a lil gas to help stabilize it (then you can slow down or stop and start breathing again). so many drivers swerve and miss the thing they were trying to miss, but never correct for the original swerve then lose control and hit other stuff (usually worse).

this is the kind of stuff they really ought to teach in Driver Ed....active safety thru "Enhanced Driver Control Software."

PS, that looked like a pretty hard hit. make real sure front frame rails aren't buckled. front subframe is likely tweaked as well. does pass side front door still work ok or is it bent too?

Door works fine she just just missed the frame it tweaked the bumper mounting surface a tiny bit that was all.

Got this picture this weekend just needs a headlight and a side mirror. The headlight looks fine in the picture, but it will fall out the brackets are broken.
