I got a car at work one day, for an oil change. I noticed the lady's sticker had run out 2 years earlier, then I noticed the 14 day plates and wondered who would sell this old lady a car with a 2 year old state inspection sticker. Then I noticed the 14 day plates were also 2 years old.
After asking the lady a few questions I realised she didn't know she was suppose to register a new car after 14 days, and then again every year after that. She didn't have any insurance, no state inspection, or registration for 2 years. She was getting her first oil change, 3,000 miles on the odometer.
Isn't that crazy!?!?!?
