my g35 is usually about 94.9db first thing in the morning (cold start) it is 98db. 95 db is pretty loud!

yes. when we tech the rally car, sound check is 107 db...more than 4 times louder. LOUD LOUD

heh, even then we flunk sometimes. my 2.5 Rs with headers and straight exhaust (cat only) was 117 db, they let me run anyway and at Maine Forest 2006 the speccies voted it Loudest Car in the rally.

Maine exhaust noise law is written in a very confusing way, with lots of stern language and only a couple loopholes.

 
i think the cop just felt like being an ass cuz i never had an issue before i think the exhaust i had on my integra was louder than my rex i just dont want to have to get rid of my exhaust. Where is neils motors anyways i wanna go see if my exhaust will pass or fail

 
i got my car inspected with no problems with my huge can what so ever. oh yeah i know where it is now. would i have to make an appointment or can i just show up

Only one thing to say is North Berwick police are known to be the most strict in the area. in the last 10 years that is the same spot I got my only ticket at. Of coarse I was doing 76 mph on heavy foot in 3rd heading for 4th. (yes i deserved it)

 
yeah that's true so isn't wells police ive gotten pulled over in north berwick more than in sanford but oh well im keeping my exhaust lol

 
ogunquit is pretty bad about it my buddy got pulled over 3 times in week in his accord but then again ive heard wastegate by nate and nothing happened

 
yeah i think the cop was just being a dink and had nothing better to do because an eliot cruiser followed me all the way to south berwick 10 minutes before i got pulled over in north berwick and he didnt seem to mind the way my car was
