i had some money to spend and was thinking saiga 7.62, but then decided against and got a 97 Legacy Outback, that's gonna be for sale very soon

I came home with a cool weaponscraft sticker.

We looked at a lot of Mousers and Enfields. Nobody has magazines for the Universal M1 .30 Carbine.

I want a German Mauser outstanding weapon. You have as M1 Carbine? What year? I have an Underwood 1943 or 44 I can't remember now to early in the a.m.

Yeah its a replica made by Universal (1970s or 1980s). The magazine area is slightly different and the magazines have to be Universal specific. They used make 10 and 30rd mags, but hard to find these days.

The boy likes Mausers. Might get one some day if we stumble on a cheap one.

Howell's is ok, they are on the pricey side.

I only paid $125 for my mauser. Its a 1938 Turkish Mauser.
